  PAY-PER-CLICK

  • Overview

PPC also known as Pay Per Click is probably the best way to draw high quality traffic to any website you own. It is also the fastest way to get your site up in the search engines like Google. By using this method of advertising you will have to spend money. What pay per click allows you to do is place your ad on a website where people searching for your product can then see your ad and possibly click through to your website.

What makes PPC so good is that anyone can set up an account in about 10 minutes. You can then set your daily budget to something you can afford. For and example if you only want to spend $10 per day all you would have to do is set your daily budget for your keyword campaign to $10. This will then stop you PPC campaign every time your daily budget is reached.

Two of the biggest places to use pay per click are Google and Yahoo. You can also use MSN, Ask.com, and others. Read below for more information on Google and Yahoo.

  • Google Adwords

Google ads words are the number one pay per click place to use. If you want to really drive traffic to your site fast, then this is your answer. You can really start driving some high quality traffic to your site with Google.

If you are new to PPC and Google Adwords I suggest you either look over the Perry Marshall's Google Adwords Course OR go right to Google Adwords and watch the videos to help you get started.

Google Adwords can be tricky, and if you're not careful it can end up burning a hole in your pocket. The key to Google Adwords is to test your ads and find out what works best, and track your conversions.

    • Plus Side to Google:

      • Get traffic fast
      • Set a budget to avoid over-spending
      • Get top quality traffic 24/7
    • Down Side to Google:

      • Some keywords cost a lot of money
      • You could waste money if you don't know what you're doing
  • Yahoo Search Marketing

Yahoo is the second best place to go to for pay per click ads. What makes Yahoo so much different is that you will not have to spend as much money to have your ads up high for some of the more popular keywords. Having ads in both Google and Yahoo is probably the best thing to do, however if you're on a tight budget then you should just choose one or the other.

    • Plus Side to Yahoo:

      • Doesn't cost as much per click
      • Get bigger and better keywords
      • Get high quality traffic 24/7
    • Down Side to Yahoo:

      • Back office is confusing to understand at first
      • Some ads get rejected
      • Not as many people use Yahoo search
  • How To Pick Keywords

A lot of people ask, "What keywords should I use?" The best way to go about picking your keywords are by thinking to yourself what is it that you would search for to find what your business deals with.

Start off by using the name of the program or business. Then find some people who are doing well in the business you are in, and use their name as keywords. Other keywords that could be good to use are other business opportunities names.

Also use the names of other big Internet marketers, and big Internet gurus. Also these keywords wont cost as much money compared to a keyword like "work at home".

You don't want to pick keywords that are going to either cost a lot of money, or be hard to get up high enough to where people will see your ads. Find keywords that cost less money, and have less competition but still target your business.

Here are a few good keywords to use for Abunza:
